This is the SWAMP quilt and I must say I LOVE IT!!!
It has frogs, snakes, dinosaurs and every other creepy thing that lives in a swamp on it. It was also a large quilt, 74 x 100!
I quilted it using the Clover Meadow panto and Lime green thread. It looks great. I am sure this young boy will love it too!!

Weekend Quilting
I would like to post the pictures of the quilt tops I got pieced at Mrs. Miller's Cabin in Charm OH. It is a lovely place to be with good friends that share your passion for quilting. We were lucky to have about 6" of snow too.
First photo is my #5 UFO Tumbler Quilt. I am leaving this one unquilted and adding it to my Etsy sight. Hopefully someone will want to hand quilt it (or machine quilt it also.)
My second project was the Bric-a-Brac scrap quilt. This comes out of a Jelly Roll quilt book that I cannot remember the name of. I used my scrap 2 1/2" squares and 2 1/2" strips. I only had to purchase the black inner border and the tangerine outer border. Can you say bright?
I have fabric in my stash for the backing. The fabric is red, gold, purple and green interwoven. Binding will be black.
Thirdly, I finished piecing this homespun quilt top. We already have one in our house, but Jeff and I seem to fight over who gets to use it. I made this one one row wider. I just love it. I just picked up the pieces and sewed them together. I made four patches first. The backing is also pieced homespun fabrics from mine & Dora's stash. Binding is a funky grey color. The binding was all I purchased for this quilt.
Finally, I finished piecing this beautiful Blue Batik Tile quilt. I have bought the outer border fabric and will get it attached in the near futrue. This is one of my favorite quilt tops to complete. I still have to decide on the backing fabric, but the binding will be the same as the final border. This was made out of fat quarters I bought at NQA in Columbus, OH a few years ago.
We all had a wonderful time with good fellowship and good food. We even ate healthy which I think is unusual for a quilter. I am looking forward to October when we have Mrs. Miller's rented again.

I did it!!
I think I did this right! I at least have it started. This blog will help me keep track of all the projects I hope to get done this year. If it's out there, it will inspire me to get it done.
